Andrew Sawyer

Andrew Sawyer is a Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Piccard Financial, where he leads the firm's debt and equity advisory practice. He structures and places financing from $1MM to $150MM+ across bridge, construction, permanent, agency and HUD, CMBS, private credit and structured equity, for multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality and land.
Andrew began his career as a capital markets analyst at a middle-market advisory firm in Los Angeles, working on roughly $500 million of executable transactions. He was promoted to Associate and became the youngest Director in the firm's history. In 2023 he spearheaded the relaunch of Piccard's debt and equity practice.
He sourced and closed the firm's $30.36MM construction loan for Inspire Echo Park, a 90-unit development by Bond Companies, the developer behind Hollywood's Sunset & Vine, taking the relationship from a cold call to closing. His clients include ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices and institutions, among them royal family offices and public figures in the United States and abroad.
Andrew designed and built Piccard's in-house deal platform, an AI-driven system that sources opportunities, tracks live Treasury and SOFR pricing, and matches each deal to the lenders most likely to compete for it. Clients see realistic terms early, and a senior team covers far more of the market than its size suggests. He is drawn to the deals others pass on: complex capital stacks, tight deadlines, and properties whose story has to be told well to get funded.
With roots in Philadelphia, Andrew attended Valley Forge Military Academy and holds a B.A. in Finance from Loyola Marymount University. Away from the desk he is an avid golfer and trap shooter.
